Thomas Vaughan Noble
Thomas Noble has been with Allan Greenberg Architect, LLC for 30 years. As Architect in Charge, Thomas has been responsible for developing designs for a wide range of academic, commercial, residential, and institutional projects. With a degree in historic preservation from Columbia University and a Master of Architecture from the University of Virginia, he is thoroughly grounded in the Classical, Gothic, Romanesque, and Byzantine architectural traditions. He tailors the firm’s designs to fit gracefully into demanding sites and stays involved throughout each project to ensure architectural excellence. He is a registered architect in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Alisa Kogan rejoined the architectural staff of Allan Greenberg Architect, LLC in 2003, and in that time, she has worked on several high-end private residences and apartment renovations in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Texas, New Jersey and New York. She has been responsible for all phases of design from schematic design, through design development and construction document production. Alisa is a strong team player whose contribution to the firm includes her knowledge of traditional design, careful attention to details and many years of experience in design, construction documents, and construction administration.
Michael G. Tierney joined Allan Greenberg Architect, LLC in 2011. Throughout his career of more than 20 years as an architect, he has been focused on single family high-end residential design and construction, affording him involvement from the start to finish in a diverse group of projects ranging from new residence construction, small to large scale additions, whole home renovations and historic preservation and reconstruction. He brought to Allan Greenberg Architect a well-rounded architectural skill set with extensive design and construction documentation planning, construction administration, and construction observation responsibilities. Michael is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and is a registered architect in the state of New York. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional with a specialty in Building Design plus Construction (LEED AP BD+C).
Colette Arredondo has worked at Allan Greenberg Architect, LLC since 2002, when the firm first opened its New York office. Colette works on all aspects of the design, construction document, and construction administration phases. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Notre Dame’s School of Architecture and has a particular interest in the evolution of modern-day classical and traditional American architecture. In addition to her architectural responsibilities, she is also committed to the firm’s public relations endeavors and is a press contact for the firm. She is a registered architect in the state of New York.
William J. Costine Jr.
William Costine has worked in the architectural profession for over 30 years and has been with Allan Greenberg Architect, LLC for the past 24. Bill is an Architect in Charge, responsible for overseeing project design and construction documents in the Connecticut office. In addition, he meets regularly with clients and supervises construction administration activities. As Project Architect for a significant portion of the firm’s work over the years, he has developed an expertise in balancing client’s needs and aspirations, and construction technique and execution. Bill holds a Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic State University and is a registered architect in the state of California.
Janice Rivers came to Allan Greenberg Architect, LLC with over 13 years of experience coordinating office management and special projects with a high degree of efficiency. A dedicated, customer-focused executive assistant, she serves as the point person for executives, managers, clients, and vendors to ensure proper lines of communication.
Robert Colarusso has over 20 years of comprehensive and practical experience in all phases of architecture. He has served as Project Architect, supervising and participating in the design, project management, and construction administration of technically complex and architecturally challenging buildings as diverse as large commercial structures, low and mid-rise office buildings, industrial manufacturing facilities, and scrupulously designed and detailed private residences. Bob holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Miami and is a registered architect in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Katherine Flanigan has 20 years of architectural experience, including 14 years with Allan Greenberg Architect, LLC. Katherine’s experience has ranged from working on institutional and commercial projects to high-end residential commissions. She has been responsible for developing highly detailed projects from feasibility studies and schematic sketches through contract documents and construction administration. Katherine also plays an active role in the firm’s marketing, preparing proposals and arranging media placements. She works closely with Allan on his lectures and publications, including the recently released monograph and an upcoming book on monuments. Katherine received her Master of Architecture degree from Virginia Tech and is a registered architect in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Tomas Ramirez has 18 years of professional architectural experience and 12 years working with Allan Greenberg Architect, LLC. He started his architectural career in the U.S. Territory of Guam, where he worked for 6 years as a job captain and project manager on numerous commercial, educational, single- and multi-dwelling residences. He was involved in all project phases from schematic design to project closeout. In 2002, he joined Allan Greenberg Architect, LLC and has worked on numerous residential and educational projects. He enjoys all aspects of design and coordination on a project. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Notre Dame. He has also volunteered as a youth football assistant coach from 2004 to present winning 2 league championships as an assistant coach.
Matthew Wigglesworth has been Chief Financial Officer at Allan Greenberg Architect, LLC since 1998. Matthew has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance and an MBA. Prior to joining Allan Greenberg Architect, LLC, he was an internal auditor at Koons Automotive Management and comptroller at Omnifics Office Space.
Matthew Derhammer joined the accounting department of Allan Greenberg Architect, LLC in 2003. Matt is responsible for all accounts payable and receivable. He also assists with all other accounting duties and with human resources and office management functions, including handling the firm’s IT issues. Matt has an Associates Degree in Business Management and previously worked in retail management for 24 years.
